Various Misc Pictures of FMC's
Pictures:

The "hood" over the window is unusual. Wonder how hot this gets in the sun?

The TV is an unusual touch. A lot of FMC's seem to put a microwave in this spot. (including me.) Fit's quite nicely.

This is an MMC. Apparently built by some employee's after FMC stopped building motorhomes. It was 35 feet, and had some sort of diesel engine. (a detroit I think.)

Like the blackout on the front. Some FMC's seem to have that "lower style line" and some don't. I think perhaps later ones didn't.

Blackout is interesting. This FMC has the square head light mod.

Spare tire on the roof. Lots of FMC's seem to do this as well.

Less paint than most. Has an extra turn signal on the front/side. Has the headlight mod.

The stove has been removed and a microwave put in it's place. I can't tell what's been done with the backsplash. Almost looks like a window?

Ahh....the 70's and burnt orange. A good example of an origional FMC.

Another shot of the FMC two picture up. Looks like wood behind the stove.

Nice unit, big awning.

Not sure why, but this unit looks great!

Unusual "shorty" awning.

The entire grill has been replaced in this unit. Also added are different latches. Not my particular favorite.

Looks like this unit has those large "safety" wheels the RV mags advertize. Needs chrome rear wheels. The bike carrier(?) on the front is different.

Nice FMC. Looks like the AC vents are covered over. A lot seem to have modified the A/C system, probably as it's massive and ancient.

Nice paint. I remember this was Imron. They have removed the extra "plates" between the headlights. Looks nice that way. I assume that's a bike holder on the front.

The parkay floor is quite nice.

I think the grey door insert must be new.

A wide shot of the same unit. The grey rear end is nice.

This is Charles Kuralt's motorhome from the "On the Road" series on CBS. It's in the Henry Ford Museum in Michigan now.
